Jewellery

The years from the late 1800's up until the outbreak of the Second World War witnessed the design and manufacture of some of the most delightful jewellery ever crafted, much of it being hand-made. Our aim is to offer an interesting and varied selection of types and styles of jewellery from the Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements, and we endeavour to source the most eye-catching pieces we can find. Ladies from these times were fortunate in that, along with increasing affluence, there was a vast increase in choice and availability. The very finest pieces can be hugely expensive but, with one or two exceptions we mostly confine our range to items priced at below £3000, with many at less than £500.  It is not unusual for many very desirable pieces to be unsigned or unmarked, particularly those from the Arts & Crafts era, years during which some quite beautiful jewellery was produced by unsung craftsmen - and women - many of whose names we will never know. Everything offered will be despatched in its own individual box.  Please enjoy looking and don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like any further information.
