Liberty Gold and Aquamarine Pendant
Pendant in 15 ct. gold marked for Liberty & Co. set with a large rectangular cushion shaped aquamarine.
Openwork in design with a tapering outline embellished with little balls at the sides and a scrolling detail within, framing the central stone.
Further design detail at the top, connecting to the bale, and completed with a faceted oval aquamarine set in the drop.
Marked on the reverse with the L & Co mark and 15ct.
The pendant measures 6 cm in length including the bale and the drop. The 9 ct. gold necklace chain is 44 cm long but has at some stage had an optional extension added which would bring the length up to 48 cm if desired.
N.B. The diagonal line that can be seen in the large aquamarine in some of our photos was at first thought to be a surface scratch. Close examination however has confimed it to be a natural flaw inside the stone.
