Original drypoint and aquatint etching dated 1924 by William Albert Ablett (1877-1937).
An upright oval of a fashionable young lady with a real 20’s look, posing in a garden with one hand on her hip and the other holding a blue fan behind her head. She’s smiling directly at the viewer and looks quite stunning in an off-the-shoulder top, blue headband and long necklace.
Signed in pencil William Ablett and marked in French and English with the publishing and copyright details for L’Estampe Moderne, Paris.
In a fine old frame measuring 58 X 47.5 cm overall, with the image approximately 43.5 X 33.5 cm.
The condition is good with just one or two minor age-related marks.
