Gold, Turquoise and Mother-of-Pearl Necklace*
Item Description
Necklace in 9 ct. gold featuring a pair of differently shaped and offset turquoise matrix stones.
These are suspended in négligée fashion on two chains, one of which is marginally longer than the other, below a well contoured oval mother-of-pearl central suspender set in gold.
Very late Victorian to early Edwardian, all original and in excellent condition.
Marked 9 ct. on the tongue of the barrel clasp and measuring a fraction over 5.5 cm long from the top of the mother-of-pearl, with the remainder of the necklace chain having a length of approximately 39 cm.
