Silver and Moonstone Necklace*
Item Description
Elegant silver necklace dating from the early 1900’s featuring a series of good quality moonstones spaced evenly along the necklace chain and a cluster of three centrally placed in the long drop below.
A final, single moonstone is set at the lowest point and all are claw-set and secure.
The chainwork is original and matches throughout, also being fitted with a hand-made toggle type fastener in true Arts & Crafts style.
A fraction below 7 cm in length from the top of the central stone on the necklace chain to the bottom of the drop, and approximately 39 cm long when opened out.
