Item Description
Arts & Crafts silver ring set with a fine oval faceted smoky quartz stone.
Surrounded by silver leaves, with a flower and a further leaf on each shoulder, the rich dark colour of the stone contrasts very effectively with the ornate silverwork.
Unmarked but well made and very similar in manner to the work of Bernard Instone, whose workshop it may well have come from.
A fairly large size at midway between V and W.
