Victorian Gold and Moonstone Pendant*
Item Description
Pendant in 15 ct. gold featuring a splendid upright oval moonstone with a smaller circular moonstone forming the drop below.
Both shimmer with a subtle but definite blue-violet shade, the colour being enhanced by foil backing.
Late Victorian, unmarked but testing as 15 ct. and on a good chain that also tests as 15 ct..
A fraction below 5 cm in length, including the bale and the drop, with the chain measuring 46 cm.
