French Silver and Saphiret Rosary*
French made rosary necklace incorporating fifty-three saphiret beads arranged in five lengths of ten around the necklace, with a further three on the drop leading down to the Cross below.
In addition there are six little silver and gold rimmed discs, each with a double sided portrait of Jesus Christ.
Four of these are positioned between the rows of saphirets with the remaining two on the drop.
The finely detailed Cross is in the form of a Crucifix.
Dating from circa 1920’s, the necklace is approximately 79 cm long, with an additional 19 cm as the length of the drop.
