Silver & Rubies Egyptian Revival Necklace
Item Description
Large and eyecatching Egyptian Revival openwork silver pendant depicting the bust of Nefertiti surrounded by an abstract leafy oval design.
She is adorned with rubies in her headdress and necklace and wears another as an earring.
With its original silver chain, alternating 1.5 cm long rods with short lengths of chain.
Showing a Cairo hallmark for 800 silver on the front, the oval measures approximately 9 X 7 cm and the chain is around 70 cm long.
Dating from the late 1920's.
