Scottish Iona Silver Brooch
Item Description
Circular, gently domed Iona solid silver brooch depicting a Viking longboat under sail on a choppy sea.
With a typically Celtic themed border design, this was made by the highly regarded Scottish silversmith Robert Allison and shows his maker’s mark on the back. It is hallmarked Glasgow 1944.
In good condition, commensurate with its age, and approximately 3.5 cm in diameter.
