French Art Nouveau silver gilt and plique-à-jour enamelled pendant in the form of a colourful peacock displaying his wing and tail feathers.
Suspended from the necklace chain on two short lengths of chain, each decorated with seed pearls.
Little faceted blue glass stones are set as the ‘eyes’ to the tail feathers and the bird’s crest is in fact three tiny rubies.
The pendant is completed with three small pearl drops.
