Art Nouveau Gold, Turquoise and Pearl Pendant*
Item Description
Stylish Art Nouveau openwork gold pendant with a caged turquoise matrix cabochon flanked by a pair of caged baroque pearls.
With a shaped foliate inspired outline, the turquoise stone simulating a stylised flower bud above a stem with two curled leaves.
At the foot is another caged pearl forming the drop.
The pendant is suspended from a dedicated bale set with a little seed pearl in its centre.
Unmarked but very Murrle Bennett looking and quite possibly from that maker.
5.5 cm long including the bale and the drop, with the 9 ct. necklace chain which has a barrel type clasp, measuring 42 cm in length.
