Pair of French Bronze Candelabra*
Item Description
Matching pair of quite beautifully made golden patinated bronze candelabra dating from 1911.
Each one has three branches, the central one being elevated around seven cm. or so above the two positioned at the sides.
All the sconces have decorative hinged lids which lift to allow the candles to be inserted. These too have been extremely well crafted and snap positively back into place after use.
Made in France and stamped inside the base plate with the initials ST. One of the base plates is dated 25 Avril 1911.
Impressively weighty, with a height of approximately 35 cm and a spread of 22 cm.
