Murrle Bennett Silver and Enamel Pendant*
Circular Art Nouveau silver and enamel pendant made by Murrle Bennett & Co. almost certainly for the Liberty of London store.
The background mix of blue and green enamel is fronted with winding stems and heart-shaped leaves in silver, with stylised fruits enamelled in red.
At the foot is suspended a natural pearl forming the drop.
Marked verso with the MBCo maker’s mark and for 950 silver.
Very early 1900’s and 4.5 cm long, including the bale and the drop, with the necklace chain measuring 46 cm.
