Butterfly Pendant from Charles Horner*
Silver and enamel butterfly pendant by Charles Horner with a Chester hallmark for the year 1911.
The butterfly’s outspread wings are vividly enamelled in two shades of blue with the darker shade accenting the wing tips and its head is in green.
The pendant hangs on two short lengths of chain from a circular suspender enamelled in complementary colours which also connects to the necklace chain.
Marked with the C.H maker’s mark and 5 cm in length including the suspender. A little under 3 cm wide overall.
The necklace chain measures 47 cm.
