John Pearson Twin Handled Tray with Proverb*
Item Description
Delightful small patinated copper tray with a repoussé design of flowers and leaves inside the rim and a thought provoking proverb angled across the interior.
Square in shape, with two raised handles and further decorated with a beaded pattern all around the inside angle of the rim.
Made by John Pearson circa 1890-1900 and showing his stamped initials on the back.
A little over 29 cm square overall, with the width from handle to handle being around 33 cm.
