Delightful small patinated copper tray with a repoussé design of flowers and leaves inside the rim and a thought provoking proverb angled across the interior.
Square in shape, with two raised handles and further decorated with a beaded pattern all around the inside angle of the rim.
Made by John Pearson circa 1890-1900 and showing his stamped initials on the back.
