Clock Garniture Attributed to Hayle
Arts & Crafts copper clock garniture that is unmarked but attributed to Hayle.
Sporting a nicely detailed galleon beneath the clock face and a mirrored pair of galleons on the candlesticks/vases.
The German made movement is by Precista, and may be original but, as we are unable to find any history for this company, it may possibly be a later replacement. In any event we have recently had it professionally checked and serviced.
In good overall condition, commensurate with age, with the top flange of one of the vases just a little loose.
The clock is a touch over 22 cm high and its base is around 16.5 cm wide. The vases are a little taller at 23 cm. Dating from circa 1905-10.
