Copper Mirror with Acorns and Oak Leaves*
Fine quality English Arts & Crafts hammered copper mirror with a repoussé design of Oak leaves, acorns and twigs.
Shaped as an elongated octagon with the chain fixed so that the mirror hangs as an over-mantle, i.e. landscape fashion. This could quite easily be changed to portrait if preferred.
The angles of the frame are divided with neat strapping, making for a very pleasing overall look.
Dating from the early 1900’s and in good original condition with a bevelled glass plate measuring approximately 56 by 33 cm. Overall the frame is 72 by 50 cm.
