Gourdel Vales & Co Silver Pendant*
An Art Nouveau / Arts & Crafts silver and enamel pendant from Gourdel Vales & Co of Great Marlborough Street, London.
In three sections, the main part almost heart shaped, enamelled in shades of blue and green and set with a circular central blister pearl.
Suspended below is the first part of the drop, also enamelled, and set with a smaller, oval blister pearl. The pendant is completed with a pretty little baroque pearl forming the final section of the drop.
Marked on the back with the maker’s mark G.V & Co and hallmarked Birmingham 1909.
The overall length is a little over 7 cm, with the attached chain measuring around 45 cm.
