Art Deco Silver and Smoky Quartz Brooch
Striking bow shaped Art Deco silver brooch set with a large central smoky quartz stone.
Open silver-work, each contoured side showing elegant flowing lines and set with marcasites in typical Art Deco style.
We’re not completely sure of the origin despite the maker’s mark of AHB inside an oval being impressed on the back, together with the silver content mark 925. However, we do feel that this brooch was probably made in Germany and dates from circa mid 1920’s.
The width is 7 cms.
