Arts & Crafts Silver and Amethyst Pendant
Well made English Arts & Crafts pendant crafted in silver and set with amethysts.
With a somewhat shield-shaped outline which encloses an array of silver leaves and flowers, the upper area further embellished with two circular faceted amethyst stones set side by side above an upright oval stone.
This hangs on two short lengths of chain from a central suspender also set with an amethyst which is linked to the original decorative silver bale.
No marks to be seen but a very nice example of early English Arts & Crafts jewellery nonetheless.
The chainwork all matches throughout and the pendant measures 7 cms. in length including the silver bale.
The necklace chain is approximately 46 cms. long.
