Powerful patinated plaster statue of a determined looking, semi naked and athletic young man levering a boulder with a large rod.
Signed by the prolific Italian sculptor Ugo Cipriani and made in the early 1930’s when he lived and worked in Paris, having escaped from the fascist regime in his home country.
