Charles Horner Heart Shaped Pendant*
An Art Nouveau pendant necklace from Charles Horner in a design that is not frequently found, but nevertheless with a typical Horner look.
A sweeping openwork design with a wide, heart-shaped outline and overlapping linked tendrils, enamelled where they widen in shades of sky blue and greeny yellow, and with a central enamelled circle.
The pendant is completed with a pear-shaped drop and hangs on two short lengths of chain from a suspender, both of which are enamelled in matching hues.
Marked on the reverse with the C.H maker’s mark and a Chester hallmark for the year 1904.
Including the bale and drop, the length is 6.5 cm and the necklace chain is 47 cm long.
