Charles Horner Flying Swallow Pendant*
Item Description
Silver and enamel pendant by Charles Horner in the form of a flying Swallow.
Beautifully enamelled in shades of sky blue with touches of greeny-yellow, and full of movement with the bird captured swooping downwards in typical fashion.
Two short length of chain separate the main pendant from its suspender which is enamelled in matching colours.
Hallmarked at Chester for the year 1908 and also showing the C.H maker’s mark.
Including the suspender, the length is 5.5 cm and the Swallow has a wingspan of a little over 4 cm.
The integral necklace chain is approximately 47 cm long.
