Butterfly by Marius Hammer*
Beautifully enamelled silver-gilt butterfly brooch from Marius Hammer.
The wings, in a rich golden brown colour, are highlighted with blue, gold and silver details while the body of the butterfly is in black and gold.
As usual with this maker, the quality is excellent, with a contoured rather than flat shape giving the brooch added realism.
Marked on the reverse and just a touch under 7 cm wide. Dating from circa 1910.
