Austrian Secessionist Owl Brooch
Impressively large silver coloured metal brooch acquired from a lady who informed us she purchased it from an antique shop in Vienna many years ago.
The forward facing owl is seen perching on the lower part of an open framework featuring sinuously curving entralac detail which encircles it all round.
This brooch is a real eye-catcher that, at first glance would be easy to mistake for having been crafted in silver.
Between 6.5 and 7 cm wide by 6 cm high.
