Arts & Crafts Silver and Enamel Brooch
Item Description
Impressively sized Arts & Crafts circular silver brooch with a rope patterned border framing a foil backed enamelled copper plaque.
Reminiscent of a spinning Catherine wheel, the outer part of the design is mainly in shades of green and yellow, with the gold rimmed inner circle showing a multi hued mix of reds, oranges, blues and greens.
No marks but probably English and dating from the very early 20th century.
This eye-catching and very individual brooch has a diameter of approximately 5.5 cms.
