Th. Fahrner Silver Gilt and Smoky Quartz Earrings
Item Description
A rare pair of Th. Fahrner earrings dating from circa early 1920’s, crafted in silver gilt in an upright oval, contoured shape and with a hammered finish.
Set in the centre is a faceted smoky quartz stone, flanked on each side by a little silver whorl.
Beneath this, long tassels in twisted silver wire are individually suspended.
Above, the front part of the wire fittings is shaped and decorated with another silver whorl.
An individual and very distinctive design and clearly marked for Fahrner although we have been unable to ascertain the name of the individual designer.
Measuring 6.5 cms. long.
