Art Nouveau Silver and Enamel Pendant
Art Nouveau silver pendant with an elongated shield shape incorporating a pair of handle like extensions at the sides.
Enamelled in shades of iridescent green and blue, with an oval mother-of-pearl plaque set in the centre and a little baroque pearl drop below.
The back is enamelled for stability but we can see no maker's mark.
Early 1900's and measuring approximately 6 cm long from the suspender ring to the bottom of the drop. The necklace chain has a length of 45 cm.
