Early German Egyptian Revival Brooch

Striking Egyptian revival brooch dating from the late 1800’s.
Made of patinated metal and depicting a winged scarab with a second, smaller one forming the drop.
The deep blue faience bodies of the scarabs contrast really well with the bronzed tones of the wings and the semi openwork design effectively lightens the overall image.
