Art Nouveau Carved Horn Chrysanthemum Necklace*
Beautifully carved French Art Nouveau horn pendant in the form of a chrysanthemum flower and leaves, standing proud of a shield-shaped border.
Three dimensional, nicely shaded and hung with a teardrop shaped spun glass bead. Further beads are spaced at intervals along the dark silk double cord which is knotted either side of each bead and tied and sewn together at the ends.
Unsigned but very much in the style of Mme. Elizabeth Bonté, the renowned Parisian jewellery designer.
The pendant together with its drop measures approximately 9.5 cm long.
