Art Nouveau Floral Horn Necklace with a Bee*
Item Description
French Art Nouveau carved horn pendant depicting a bee alighting on flowers.
Circular in form but with the bee’s wings and the leaves extending beyond the outer ring, giving a strong three dimensional look.
On a long double silver chain and with an elongated pear-shaped yellow glass drop suspended beneath which matches the centre of the flowers.
Unmarked, as so many of these horn pieces are, but quite beautifully carved and coloured with real subtlety.
Length of the pendant from the top of the bee’s wing to the bottom of the drop is approximately 12.5 cm and each side of the the double chain is 35 cm long.
