Art Deco Lady & Fawn
Patinated plaster group of a lady and young fawn from around the late 1920’s and with a strong Art Deco look.
Lovely graceful lines with the semi-nude smiling young woman striding forward, with one hand on the animals back and the other holding the end of the drapery that she’s almost wearing.
Many of these old plaster pieces have suffered greatly over the years but this one is still in excellent condition with just the right bronzy green colour that suits it so well.
The length is around 64 cm and the height 41 cm.
