Art Deco Girl and Fox Terrier*
Charming Art Deco watercolour painting of a smiling young redheaded girl holding her pet fox terrier.
Simply signed with the letter E and dated 1925, we have no idea who the artist was but it’s a delightful image simply and effectively painted with no frills.
On close inspection there is a small crease adjacent to the dog’s left eye which can be seen in our close-up photo but this doesn’t detract from the overall picture.
Sympathetically framed and mounted with the frame colour complementing the girl’s hair.
45 X 36.5 cm overall with the image alone measuring 33.5 X 25 cm.
