1930’s Elegant Lady
Item Description
Art Deco ceramic figure of a lady dressed for an evening engagement dating from the late 20's to early 30's.
She looks extremely elegant as she walks forward wearing a long evening gown of pink and grey, carrying over her shoulders a pretty wrap or shawl with a leafy design.
Her clothes together with her short blonde hair and rather aloof expression give her a real Art Deco atmosphere.
Probably Austrian or German but there are no marks to indicate the designer or maker. It is however very much in the style of Katzhutte.
Very nicely painted and glazed with a little age related crazing and standing around 31 cm high.
