Terracotta sculpture titled ‘Dreaming’ of a nude woman seated on sloping ground with her knees partially drawn up towards her.
She’s leaning forward slightly and her hands rest on the ground behind. Her head is raised as though she is enjoying the warmth of the sun.
Elegantly sculpted by Demetre Chiparus circa 1930 and signed on the base, also marked ‘Editions Reveyrolis Paris’. This piece was also made at the time in bronze.
