Silver Arts & Crafts Necklace
An unusual Arts & Crafts design incorporating a pair of adjacent circular silver discs, one silghtly overlapping the other with a raised feature of bunches of grapes, leaves and tendrils.
The silver has developed a darkened patina in some areas over the years due to oxydisation and we’ve not been tempted to clean it as we feel it accentuates the contrast between the raised design and the background.
The original old necklace chain with its fine old toggle type fastener, is attached in two places on each side, coming together a little way along the length.
Suspended below on a short length of matching chain is a fine wing pearl which balances the main element perfectly.
Width is 4 cm and the necklace chain has a length of approximately 41 cm.
