Arts & Crafts Pendant from James Cromar Watt
Scottish Arts & Crafts high carat gold pendant from James Cromar (Cromer) Watt.
Made in four separate linked sections, the top one with a cirular chrysoprase cabochon and below this a pair of stylised wing shapes decorated with typical Cromar Watt foiled enamelling.
The third element features a pear-shaped chrysoprase cabochon framed by a design detail in gold wire, and the pendant is completed with a blister pearl set in the drop below.
Beautifully elegant and on a fine old 9 ct gold chain with a barrel type clasp.
