Silver and Lapis Ring for Liberty*
English Arts & Crafts silver ring set with an oval Swiss lapis cabochon.
On each side, at the shoulders of the ring, the silver is crafted into a design of intertwining stems and leaves in the Art Nouveau style that was so fashionable in the early 1900’s when this ring was made.
No maker’s mark apparent but clearly a Liberty piece and typical of the jewellery sold by the London store at that time.
