James Fenton Enamelled Silver Pendant
Art Nouveau shield shaped pendant by James Fenton with a Birmingham hallmark for the year 1909.
The silver outline forms a frame around four separate enamelled areas which are divided by the curving stems of a pair of heart shaped leaves.
A vibrant mix of blues and greens stand out in bold contrast to the silver, with the little enamelled drop at the foot being in blue only.
Clearly marked J.F on the reverse along with the hallmark.
The pendant measures 5 cm long, including the bale and the drop, with the necklace chain, which has a barrel type clasp, having a length of just over 42 cm.
