Silver and Enamel Entwined Dragons Brooch*
Arts & Crafts silver and enamel brooch designed as a pair of long-tailed dragons mirroring each other on each side.
Their necks are entwined as their bodies face each other, but their heads are turned the other way.
Beautiful vivid green and blue enamelling covers the surface and a fine blister pearl is suspended from the dragons’ feet in the centre of the brooch.
When we acquired this item it was so dirty that we made the decision to have it professionally cleaned. The difference this made was quite incredible, revealing what is now a stunning piece .
Measuring approximately 6.5 cm long and dating from circa 1900.
