Portrait in profile of a golden haired young beauty by the master French enameller Louis Clément (born Foncine le Bas, 1882).
Of a raised, oval shape with the strong colours of her cap and dress contrasting so well with the skin tones of her lovely face.
Dating from circa 1910-20 and still in its original wooden frame with the old retailer’s label from V. Cot, Limoges, affixed verso.
Signed L. Clément, Limoges, the oval measures 9 cm high by 6.5 wide. The overall size of the frame is 27 X 24 cm.
