Matching Limoges Pendant and Ring by Bonnaud
French pendant and ring in 18 ct. gold, each set with an enamelled plaque in the impressionist style.
The gently convex circular enamel in the pendant lies inside a plain deep gold frame and displays a mix of red, golden yellow and green hues.
It is signed on the blue enamel back P. Bonnaud, Limoges and the gold mark is on the bale.
The diameter is between 3.5 and 4 cm. and the 9 ct. gold necklace chain is 49 cm. long.
The ring, which is a UK size O, has an extended oval outline and, as with the pendant, is quite deeply set inside its gold frame. It is similarly signed on the back.
Paul Bonnaud (b. 1873) was a highly regarded Emailleur and a gold medal winner at the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1900.
