Pair of Exotic Birds from Fauré*
Stunning Art Nouveau pair of little framed enamels on copper, one depicting a peacock and the other a phoenix.
From the Limoges studio of Camille Fauré (1872-1944), the colours are truly vibrant, with each bird seen perching on the branch of a pink blossomed cherry tree.
Mounted in antique gilded frames, both are signed Fauré Limoges France and are in lovely condition.
The framed sizes are 23 by a little over 20 cm and the visible enamels measure approximately 10 X 7.5 cm.
