Item Description
Well made circular gilt metal pill box with the Limoges enamel on copper portrait of a young woman wearing a vivid blue headdress and richly coloured clothes, both given additional lustre by the incorporation of foil paillons.
The convex copper panel is housed in the removable lid, framed with a finely detailed raised border.
Circa 1900, signed with the initials LC and just 6 cm in diameter by a little over 2 cm high.
