Newlyn School Gold and Enamel Necklace
High carat gold pendant set with a deep red enamel centre, unmarked but very typically Newlyn School.
With intricate gold wirework around the outside of the lustrous enamelling and an engraved monogram on the reverse.
On an old Arts & Crafts gold chain that measures 62 cm long.
The pendant itself has a length of approximately 4 cm excluding the bale.
There is a crack to the enamelling across its width at around the shoulder level of the central design but this is not obvious without close inspection, only just being visible when enlarging our close-up photograph.
