Necklace from Marius Hammer
Skønvirke necklace from the Norwegian workshops of Marius Hammer, dating from the early 1900’s.
Crafted in silver gilt and featuring a central filigree design, further decorated with little cabochons enamelled in a vivid shade of blue.
Four of these are suspended from the lower of two short lengths of chain and another forms the central drop.
The chainwork is original as is the twist type barrel fastenerwhich opens and closes positively.
Marked MH on the back and measuring approximately 43 cm in overall length.
