Murrle Bennett Pendant Necklace*
Splendid Art Nouveau silver and enamel pendant necklace by Murrle Bennett with a design of stylized open flowers on long sinuously curving stems which sweep upwards and over to form the pendant’s outline.
Enamelled in between the silver detail in shades of blue and almost purple and with a very individual offset shaped enamelled drop.
The main pendant hangs from two short pairs of chains, each connected to an enamelled spacer which further attaches to the necklace chain.
Showing a crisp MBCo maker’s mark on the back together with the silver content of 950 – a higher grade than sterling.
Approximately 9 cm in length from the spacers to the bottom of the drop. The matching necklace chain, which has a toggle type fastener, measures a further 31 cm.
