Murrle Bennett Silver & Turquoise Necklace
Item Description
Necklace from Murrle Bennett with a somewhat medieval look about the design.
Crafted in silver and showing a hammered finish with a detail of little studs and a swirling abstract design repeated on each side.
In the centre is a greeny-blue turquoise matrix cabochon set, in typical Murrle Bennett style, in a gold mount.
This theme is repeated below, with the gold mounted turquoise stone in the drop being in a clearer blue shade.
The main pendant hangs on four short lengths of chain from decorative side attachments which connect to the remainder of the necklace chain.
All original and marked with the MBCo maker’s mark and for 950 silver on the reverse.
The fully opened out length is 49 cms.
