Murrle Bennett Gold, Turquoise and Pearl Brooch*
Item Description
Art Nouveau 15 ct. gold brooch by Murrle Bennett & Co dating from the early 1900’s.
Showing an elegant outline and a semi-open design set with an upright turquoise matrix stone with a convex surface and on either side a little seed pearl.
Suspended below is another, smaller turquoise stone set in gold and forming the drop.
Marked on the back with the MBCo maker’s mark and 15 ct.
The width of the brooch is a little over 3.5 cm.
